Tahiti Travel Planner was born out of a love for helping people plan their dream vacation to French Polynesia.
I’m Meghan Gesswein, and I’ve been running Good Lands Travel Group since 2014. I’ve always enjoyed helping my clients plan their ideal retreat, be it a trip to Europe, an all-inclusive in Mexico, family holiday in Hawaii, or romantic getaway to Tahiti.
And really, anything in between! I just LOVE travel and really, truly enjoy assisting my clients in planning their trips.
Then Covid hit in early 2020, and forced me to reevaluate my business model. As business dried up, I had to really sit and think about whether this industry was indeed for me, and honestly, if I would even feel comfortable selling travel in the coming years.
That’s when the idea of focusing on Tahiti really settled in. Aside from the obvious beauty of the location and the warmness of her people, I am able to work with amazing suppliers that help me provide my clients with their dream vacations. The country has done an astounding job of welcoming back tourists, while keeping its residents & visitors safe. And after several years of working with & learning from the Tahiti Tourism Authority, and attending conferences (both in person & virtually!) I am confident that I have the most amazing team in my corner.
I was lucky to spend a week in French Polynesia in May 2022, visiting 6 of the Society Islands (Tahiti, Moorea, Raiatea, Taha’a, Bora Bora & Huahine) while on a Windstar Cruise. And I’m lucky enough that I’ll be back in French Polynesia for 11 days in December 2023!
In the end, that al translates to me being able to create a truly spectacular vacation for my clients.
